Finale Ligure is well known for its legendary 24 hour race, which is not only the oldest one in Europe, but also the most appealing one. About 2 000 racers compete each year, either as solo riders or in teams of four, eight or twelve. Over 80 percent of the courses are single trails with a lot of flowing sections, but there are also some demanding parts. The unique combination of a challenging course and an outstanding festival character attracts over 15 000 visitors each year.

A second annual highlight is the official tour stop of the Superenduro race series. The Superenduro is a relatively new type of race which combines the best of cross country and downhill competitions: Results are only based on the time taken on descent sections, but the participants have to ride uphill to the start by themselves and on the same bike in a limited amount of time. The trails in Finale Ligure are perfectly designed for this kind of racing. We’re proud to host the grand final of the Superenduro race series in October every year – come and join us.
